General: –
• Please note, members of staff will periodically patrol the gym to ensure rules are adhered to. Please show respect or you will be asked to leave the
premises.
• All members must sign in and out in order to meet with fire regulations.
• Memberships must be valid in order to use the facilities.
• The club or staff cannot be held responsible for any property left on the premises.
• All members must complete a health screening form a should inform staff of any changes.
• Smoking is prohibited on the premises.
• Drugs and steroids are prohibited on the premises.
• Chewing gum is prohibited on the premises.
• Spitting is prohibited on the premises.
• All members must ensure their personal hygiene is of a high standard.
• Members must refer from swearing.
• All members must comply with the instructor’s guidance.
• Safe methods of operating the equipment must be followed.
• All members of staff must be treated with respect.
• All other club members must be treated with respect.
• The use of mobile phones on the premises is limited, treat fellow members with respect.
• No refunds will be given. Regulations must be adhered to. Please refer to poster on display in reception area.
Gym: –
• All members are responsible for clearing away barbells, dumbbells, loose weights and floor mats that they may use. If they are not tidy when you
enter the gym, please report to reception or you will be held responsible for putting them away.
• Please treat the gym with respect. Do not throw or drop the weights on the floor.
• Any willful damage to equipment must be paid for by the member responsible.
• All machines must be kept in a uniform position.
• All rubbish (bottles) must be disposed of in the bins provided.
• No outdoor clothing allowed whilst training.
• Report any faults with the equipment immediately to reception.
• When using benches members wearing weight lifting belts must take care and attention not to damage upholstery. Any willful neglect will require the
member to pay for the damage.
• All members must adhere to the rules of the gym. Failure to do so will result in your membership being terminated with no refund. Warnings will be
issued depending of the severity of the rule-break which could ultimately lead to loss of membership.
1. Membership
1.1. Your membership will begin on the day you join.
1.2. Your membership is personal to you. You cannot transfer it to another person.
2. Fees
2.1. You must pay a monthly membership which will be determined by your chosen membership package.
2.2. Monthly instalments will be due on either the 1st of each calendar month or the next available working day by Direct Debit.
2.3. Monthly fees are payable even if you do not use the centre.
2.4 If you have chosen a contract membership option then please note you’re tied into your term. Should you fail to make a payment then it is in our
right to take legal action on this matter.
3. Cancelling Your Membership
3.1. This requires 30 days’ notice if within a contracted membership, you can choose to cancel yourself through your member app or by letting one of
our staff know.
4. Centre Rules.
4.1. You must comply with the centre rules/etiquette which forms part of this agreement.
4.2. We may change the rules/etiquette at any time. We will post notice of any changes at the centre.
5. Facilities
5.1. You are entitled to use the facilities available for your category of membership package.
5.2. You may have to pay additional charges to use certain other facilities/activities at the Centre. You can get a list of these from our reception. We
can change these prices at any time.
5.3. The gym may open/close earlier during public holiday periods. Facilities may also close for occasional special events. Notices will be displayed in
the gyms in advance notifying customers of any changes. No refunds will be available for these periods.
5.4. We may change the gyms opening times or withdraw any of the facilities at any time if we need them for events, tournaments, exhibitions or
other special activities.
5.5. We may need to close a facility or part of it for repair/refurbishment on the grounds of health and safety or improving customer service. Fitness
classes may also have to be cancelled due to unforeseen instructor unavailability. In the above circumstances we will use our best endeavours to:
5.5.1. Give as much notice as is reasonably practicable by displaying notices in the gym.
5.5.2. Arrange for alternative facilities during a period of closure.
5.6. Your membership does not give you priority over other users or guarantee the availability of facilities.
5.7. Raw Fitness management reserve the right to change the activity programme. Prior notice will be given in the gym relating to activity
cancellations or the introduction of new sessions.
5.8. Promotions do not apply to existing members.
6. Junior Members and Children.
6.1. If you are 14-17 (inclusive) your parent or guardian must sign this agreement on your behalf. By signing this agreement your parent or guardian
agrees to be responsible for your behaviour and actions at all times and to pay us any amounts that are due on your behalf.
6.2. When you reach 18 your junior membership will end, and you will automatically and immediately become a full adult member and sign a copy of
this agreement.
